The Wine Advocate:

The oak is still present in the 2016 Sálvora, with some spicy and smoky aromas and an oxidative whiff. I've seen some ups and downs in the vintages of Sálvora. This Albariño is from a single plot in the village of Meaño. There are some honeyed tones and traces of sweet spices in the finish. The barrels have been the same since 2012, two 600-liter barrels, and each year they should lend less aromas and flavors to the wine. Some 1,500 bottles produced.
