Rol de Coisas Antigas 2015

"The 2015 Rol de Coisas Antigas is the winery's eclectic blend: 24% Baga, 20% Castelão Nacional, 17% Bastardo, 8% Tinta Pinheira, 5% Sousão, 15% Touriga Nacional and 11% Alfrocheiro. It was aged for 18 months in used French oak. This is lovely, the best I've seen in the brand. Very elegant in the mid-palate—that's finesse, not thinness—it has moderate tannins and a fresh, lively feel. The finish is mouthwatering, as the wine leads with its acidity. Focused and precise, it is a graceful food wine, dry, serious and understated. You can approach this now but a few months in the cellar will certainly allow it time to settle down. It has the potential to age well, too. There were 6,300 bottles produced."
