Description
Produit uniquement lors des années considérées a minima comme « très bonnes » (dont la 2011, classée « exceptionnelle » par le domaine), Expresión est un des vins à la production la plus limitée de Resalte. Issu de vignes dont l'âge moyen dépasse les 50 ans, il présente un profil différent du reste de la gamme et offre un grand potentiel de garde. Mûr et complexe, il déploie de belles notes de chocolat, de clou de girofle et de noix grillée.

"The new 2011 Expresion comes from a warm and ripe vintage, and the wine shows it, but without excess. They selected older plots of Tempranillo, fermented the grapes in stainless steel with malolactic in barrel and seven months with lees to complete 18 months élevage in 225- and 300-liter oak barrels. The barrels were mostly made out of French oak but with some 10% of them American. 12,000 bottles were filled in September 2013. Time in bottle has polished the tannins, still present but quite fine. There is good to moderate acidity here".
