L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

The barrel-fermented and aged Burgundian 2010 Reserva Blanco is a blend of Viura and Malvasía Riojana from old vines on clay and chalk soils matured for one year in new French oak barrels. The color is a bright, deep yellow and opens to a nose showing plenty of yellow plums, pollen, yeasts, beeswax and honey with a citric hint. It has plenty of flavors and good persistence, but it never feels heavy. In fact it feels quite light on its feet, with good acidity and framed by a spicy, mineral finish. It should develop very well in bottle. After years of trials it looks like the 2010 will be the first commercial vintage, as this wine has never been released until now, so the price is still not decided. 4,500 bottles.
