The Wine Advocate:

I hadn't tasted it since the 2012 vintage, and we jumped to the 2016 Ulises, a light and approachable red produced with Giró, the local strain of Garnacha, and Monastrell grapes with a little Syrah (that they will not use in future vintages) fermented with indigenous yeasts and kept in stainless steel in contact with the lees for six months. It's a juicy, meaty and approachable red Mediterranean blend, with some rusticity and a traditional style. The palate has some dusty tannins and a medium-bodied texture that makes it very appropriate for food. 9,000 bottles were filled in June 2017.
