"The top-of-the-range red, a selection of Bobal from the oldest estate vines, is the 2014 Quincha Corral, a plot planted in 1945. It was cropped from a year with a cool and wet winter and a dry and warm summer, which resulted in a healthy crop. The destemmed and crushed grapes fermented in a combination of open-top 225-liter oak barrels and a 3,500-liter oak vat with indigenous yeasts. It matured in second and third use oak barrels for 21 months. I tasted this very young, as they did not produce the 2013 vintage and therefore are selling the 2014 earlier and with less bottle age. This is a heady and ripe Mediterranean red, powerful and long lived, with concentration but also with elegance and balance. This has a lot less extraction than yesteryear, and it has a long maceration to polish the tannins, which you notice in the velvety texture. Only 3,400 bottles were filled in October 2016."
En 1999 Toni Sarrión, responsable y enólogo de Mustiguillo, decidió apostar por la Bobal. En aquella época esta variedad era destinada a graneles y rosados de bajo precio.

El vino es bueno. Hay que probarlo. Lo que me molesta es que prefiero Finca Terrerazo, que cuesta menos de la mitad. El precio es exagerado.

No sé cuál es el motivo, pero no está a la altura de la edición anterior. Una pena.
La mejor bobal de España
Maravilloso como añadas anteriores que he probado.Aun recuerdo cuando lo probé por primera vez(añada 2009). De las mejores bobal de España !

Nariz embriagadora, sencillo y lleno de matices. Goloso en boca, invita a beber. Perfectamente equilibrado. Compartirlo es un acto de amor.
Extraordinario¡¡
no lo probaba desde un magnun de 2009,si aquel ya me encanto, puedo decir que este es de lo mejor que he bebido en los ultimos tiempos
