L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

It was not easy to read the white 2018 Qué Bonito Cacareaba, as it was still very oaky and masked by the élevage of eight months in new French oak barrels, where it also fermented with indigenous yeasts. It's a blend of 40% Garnacha Blanca, 34% Viura and 26% Malvasía Riojana with full ripeness (the label reads 15% alcohol) and generous oak, a baroque white with freshness and clout. There were notes of white fruit and flowers intermixed with generous spice and a touch of smoke, coming through as hedonistic and showy. The palate is full-bodied, nicely textured with volume and length, good purity of flavors, finishing dry and with a bitter twist. It should absorb the oak with a little more time in bottle and has all the components for a positive and long development in bottle. 6,000 bottles were filled in June 2019.
