L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

The 2012 Syrah Block G I contains 2% Viognier. It is sourced from the G and I block of their vineyard in Marchigue. It went through malolactic and matured in new and used French barriques for some 22 months. The nose is very Syrah, with abundant notes of tapenade, smoked bacon, violets and plenty of toasted aromas, a little roasted, with something earthy. There are some oak aromas still to be integrated, mainly the toasted notes. The palate is medium to full-bodied with abundant, dusty tannins and balanced acidity. It could do with little more freshness, though. 4,180 bottles were filled in March 2015.
