The Wine Advocate:

From vines about 15-30 years old, the 2018 Pinot Noir Balavaud Vetroz Grand Cru is made entirely in stainless steel and was bottled in autumn last year (2019). The wine opens pure, fresh and intense, with concentrated red berry aromas on the slightly spicy nose. Silky, refined and very elegant on the palate, this is a charming and refreshing Pinot with fine and crunchy tannins and lingering salinity and tension. This is excellent and highly digestible. Mouth-salivating due to the gravelly soils of the vineyard. A straight but refined character. Tasted in January 2020. - Stephan Reinhardt.
