The Wine Advocate:
The 2010 Paydos is a concentrated juice which feels very aromatic and flowery, almost feminine, a rarity in the region, with a mixture of red and black cherry aromas and the wood perfectly integrated into the fruit (the wine aged for 14 months in a combination of new and used French barrels). The effect of the elevage is only really noticed in the grainy, slightly angular tannins, but has juicy fruit and enough underlying acidity to overcome it. A very good Toro in an elegant style. Añada fresca en la zona, que se refleja en un vino con extraordinario equilibrio y redondez.
Excesivo soft mouthfeel,3,75☆,casi parece un novillo en vez de un "toro"
En ésta ocasión, estoy más de acuerdo con el sr Peñin que con el sr Parker, me ha gustado aún más que la añada anterior. 3,85☆
Diría que me gustó más el 2008, pero esté también está de muerte. Recomiendo decantar.
