L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

"The top of the range is the red 2011 Pago del Conde, pure old vine Tempranillo from head-pruned vines on clay soils. The hand-harvested grapes fermented with indigenous yeasts and the wine went through malolactic in barriques, where it stayed for six months with the fine lees. It then matured in 2,500-liter oak foudres for a further 12 months. It's quite similar to the Ermita del Conde from this same year, ripe and aromatic, with notes of black fruit, aromatic herbs and spices. The palate has a little more depth and vivacity. 4,000 bottles produced".
