L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

An 80-20 blend of Syrah and Grenache, all maturing in concrete tanks, the 2017 Duche d'Uzes is plummy without being jammy, balanced by savory notes of black olive. Medium to full-bodied, it boasts silky tannins and a long, fine finish. It seems a bit more concentrated and intense than the 2016 reviewed last year. - Joe Czerwinski.

Jeb Dunnuck:

A mix of Syrah and Grenache, the 2017 Duché D’Uzès sports a medium ruby/purple color to go with a peppery, juicy, upfront beauty that has tons of fruits, plenty of complex pepper and garrigue nuances, no hard edges, and a silky, charming style. Drink it over the coming 3-4 years.
