The Wine Advocate:

"I also tasted the 2010 Maduresa and it already feels like a wine from another era, with a compact palate with abundant tannins that give it a powdery texture with plenty of oak-related flavors. The nose is all about smoke and spices, toast and a touch of cured meat, with ripe black fruit and also a mineral hint and with a warm finish where the alcohol is noticeable. The wine is good in its style, but they have moved on in a fresher direction where the wines are less marked by the élevage. Here the oak is a bit overwhelming."
