Description

The Wine Advocate:

"The 2013 Riesling Seeberg Erste Lage was picked in early November and fermented 50:50 in stainless steel and used acacia and oak barrels for 4 weeks. It spent 6 months on its lees and another 4 months on its fine lees before it was bottled in September with 13% alcohol and 3.1 g/l of residual sugar. The floral-scented wine shows a clear, deep, complex and fresh aroma of ripe, cooked apples and stone fruits as well as smoky mineral aromas and inviting citrus flavors. This full-bodied, deep and mineral-accented Riesling combines its clear, fresh, refined and elegant style with a firm, vibrant structure and a promising, highly complex length."
