Les Héritiers du Comte Lafon Macon-Milly-Lamartine Clos du Four 2015

The 2015 Macon Milly Lamartine Clos du Four has a very keen and precise bouquet, hints of yellow flower complementing the citrus fruit, direct and focused, perhaps more conservative than the domaine's other 2015s. The palate is crisp and fresh, more expressive than the regular Macon Milly Lamartine at the moment, with touches of orange zest and spice (ginger) on the finish. Dominique Lafon did not produce a better Mâconnais wine in this vintage—this is just a fabulous wine that is going to be difficult to resist in its youth.
