L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

The old La Vieja Zorra is now the 2016 Selección Especial. It's still a selection of the best barrels of Rufete, Tempranillo and Garnacha and has a classical profile where the berries and herbs are intermixed with smoke, toast and sweet spices that give it a more mainstream character. It has contained ripeness, round tannins and a tasty, slightly oaky finish. 6,000 bottles were filled in July 2019.

James Suckling:

This is a modern red with plenty of spice and fresh, briary fruit. Medium body. Fresh and attractive tannins roll long. Drink or hold.
