The Wine Advocate:

Already in its second vintage, the 2018 La Viña de Ayer Albillo Real was produced with grapes from Cebreros, from vines at 750 meters in altitude on granite soils, and it is now sold with that appellation of origin. The grapes were harvested in the first half of August, despite which the wine is 13.5% alcohol and has moderate acidity. It fermented in concrete with indigenous yeasts and matured in oak vat for eight months. It has a Mediterranean nose with aromatic herbs and straw notes, and the palate volume and texture, with moderate acidity and some fine tannins. The grape is not easy, and it's a bit mysterious. 10,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in December 2019.
