The Wine Advocate:

I love the nose of the single-vineyard white 2017 La Sombrilla. It's had the advantage of some extra time and seems to have developed extra complexity and nuance. The textbook moss and river stones are there, completed by some tangerine peel and lanolin-like notes. This vineyard, given its altitude and good ventilation, wasn't touched by the frost that marked the year, but September was quite rainy and presented some challenges. This is mostly Treixadura with 9% Albariño from vines planted in 1997 on sandy granite soils. Sixty percent of the volume fermented in stainless steel and the rest in 600-liter oak barrels, where they wine matured with lees for six months, always with indigenous yeasts. It's serious and austere, with moderate alcohol and a fine texture marked by the sandy soils. It shows typicity and balance. It should also develop nicely in bottle. 3,150 bottles produced. It was bottled in November 2018.
