L'avis des experts

James Suckling:

I really like the balance and finesse in this Spanish red. Cool to be made of pure Graciano, a weird ancient variety from the area. Hint of tar and spices, with dark fruits on the nose. Medium body, with a solid core of fruit and a black pepper and spice aftertaste. Very pretty and clean. Drink it tonight with a juicy steak.

Tim Atkin:

Graciano can be something of a one-glass wine when it's not handled sensitively, but this is a textbook example of how to tame a rugged variety. Combining equal amounts of (50% new) French and American oak, it's perfumed and intense with aromas of incense and wild Mediterranean herbs and green, minty undertone. 2022-28
