The Wine Advocate:

A new wine here, the 2016 Selección kind of replaces the old Roble and the unoaked red, and they have different criteria for the selection of the vineyards they use for it. They search for acidity and no impact from the barrels by employing used barriques and some stainless steel for the aging of the wine. 2016 saw a large crop, and the wines have good acidity. All their vineyards are old, and they all have different varieties interplanted with the Tempranillo. This wine could have some 2% white Albillo grapes, and it kind of goes back to the Riberas from yesteryear. It's really great, with no oak whatsoever and great acidity, balance and freshness, really delicious. 10,000 bottles were filled in September 2017. It feels like a bargain.
