The Wine Advocate:

The young white 2019 Vino Blanco is a Godello-based blend with 35% Treixadura, Albariño, Torrontés and Loureira from different plots in different villages, with different soils, expositions and altitudes, trying to replicate the whites from before, which were never varietal and were always blends. 2018 was a very good year, with a complete cycle and textbook conditions for the harvest. This was bottled unoaked after six months sur lie. It's 12.5% alcohol. The vines sprouted very early, but the cool summer slowed things down (in Monforte, it was the coolest August in the last 10 years); and the harvest dates were normal, which means a very long cycle, perfect ripening, lower pH, good acidity and a good crop (a record) with very healthy grapes. The wine is very clean, expressive and fruit-driven with a balsamic touch of bay leaf (the Loureira!), and the difference at this very early age is the vibrant palate (it was a good crop of Albariño and Treixadura that could have contributed to good acidity). One of the freshest and finest vintages of the young white. 10,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in March 2020. Luis Guitérrez
