Günther Steinmetz Dhroner Hofberg Riesling Auslese 2018

The 2018 Dhroner Hofberg Riesling Auslese (Gold Capsule) is clear, warm, bright and crunchy on the refined, elegant, slightly flinty nose. Round and lush on the palate but refined and subtle in its acidity and lingering salinity, this is a beautifully balanced Hofberg that yielded only one fuder of Auslese and another one of "G D" from 4,000 square meters. Tasted in March 2019.
