L'avis des experts

James Suckling:

Plenty of tropical fruit here in the mango and guava zone. The palate has a fleshy and quiet fresh, sleek feel. Good balance. Drink now.

Decanter:

The Torres family sources this Sauvignon Blanc from the historic Fransola estate in one of the highest areas of the Penedès. It's a benchmark among aged Sauvignons, with recent vintages focused on producing a fresher style. Half is fermented in stainless steel tanks, while the rest is barrel-fermented and aged for six months in a combination of French and US oak, 50% of it new. Such attention to detail produces a clean, elegant, mineral style, with subtle grassy and lime notes alongside pear fruit, with a silky texture. Very classy indeed.
