"The 2015 Tintilla was produced with red Tintilla de Rota grapes fermented in clay amphorae with 30% full clusters and aged in those amphorae for six months, plus a further ten months in French oak. There is a lot less oak than in previous vintages, less creamy, dry and serious. They have worked to try to remove makeup from the wine, and the palate also showed much better, with fine-grained tannins. This is a great improvement over the 2014. 4,000 bottles were filled in December 2016."

Love this ripe, fruity Tintilla. Has that tell-tale peppery finish that marks out this variety. Lovely deep colour. Great producer.
