There is a new bottling of the 2012 Colección Añadas Fino en Rama (saca October 2018), and a first bottle felt a little oxidative and advanced, but a second bottle felt much fresher and with the pungency in the palate and the power and concentration of that year. 2012 was a very dry year and yields were very low, with 30% less grapes, and the wines are very concentrated. In the palate, it's super salty and very long, very intense and long, with pungent minerality that goes beyond what Palomino usually delivers. The idea is to make more bottlings in the future, because they think the year is exceptional and atypical. This is now 16.8% alcohol, from pure concentration.

Salino, intenso, cremoso. Con unas alcachofas he visto el cielo, una combinación exquisita.

Suave, pulido yo con mucho carácter. Será que los años en botella lo han domesticado en el buen sentido.
