L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

The single-vineyard Verdejo 2015 Finca Montico was sourced from the head-pruned, 40-year-old vineyard planted with a massale selection that names the wine. The hand-harvested bunches were pressed and the must fermented with indigenous yeasts in small stainless steel vats and 6,000-liter oval oak foudres, where it was kept with the fine lees for five months. It has the character of the traditional wines from Rueda, a mixture of notes of hay and straw, orange peel and some white fruit and flowers, with a fresh, medium-bodied palate and the telltale faintly bitter finish. 35,000 bottles produced.

James Suckling:

Very exotic fruit aromas with mango and papaya. Full body, beautiful fruit with bitter lemon undertones. Love the finish to this. Beautiful verdejo. Drink now.
