More golden fruits, Meyer lemon, and some exotic tangerine notes, as well as green almonds, emerge from the 2017 Saint-Péray Le Mialan, which had 20% of the blend brought up in demi-muids. This ripe, sexy example of Marsanne has terrific purity, no hard edges, and good freshness. It’s a terrific value that will keep for 2-4 years.
