The Wine Advocate:

Germanier's 2018 Fendant Balavaud Vetroz Grand Cru is clear and generous on the elegant nose, where perfectly ripe fruit aromas intermix with very fine flinty/mineral notes. The attack on the palate is surprisingly fresh (due to acidification?), and the wine reveals stimulating grip and bitterness. It is rich and sweet, whereas the alcohol of 12.3% is rather moderate for Fendant and especially for this dry and warm vintage. Tasted at the domain in January 2020. - Stephan Reinhardt.
