L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

"The subtle and insinuating 2015 Bastarda, produced with the same grape that in the Jura is called Trousseau (also known as Merenazao in Galicia) is sold without the Ribeira Sacra appellation even if the grapes are grown within its geographical limits, in the subzones of Ribas do Sil (younger vines) and Bibei (old vines). The full clusters fermented in plastic bins with indigenous yeasts, manual punching down of the cap and 25 days of maceration. Malolactic was in barrel where the wine matured without racking for eight months. The warmer year resulted in a more varietal wine, without the funky character of the 2014, a wine that I underestimated last year and has bloomed in the bottle. The palate is very harmonious and super tasty, with a very long finish, without the sharpness of the 2014. The color is very light, and the nose is insinuating rather than in your face. This is delicious. 3,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in July 2016."
