The Wine Advocate:

The aromatic and showy 2015 El Cadastro is an old-vine cuvée sourced from different plots in the village of Covarrubias where the grape is mainly Tempranillo, but there is perhaps some 5% Garnacha. It fermented with some 20% full clusters with indigenous yeasts and matured in 300-, 500- and 600-liter oak barrels for 19 months, plus a couple of months in tank before bottling. The nose is more expressive than the palate, where the wine is serious and a little muted, with abundant, dusty tannins and the chalky texture of the tannins. It's an elegant and balanced Tempranillo with no noticeable oak and a dry, serious finish. 5,500 bottles were filled in August 2017.
