The Wine Advocate:

The 2016 Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru La Dominode has the most refined and sophisticated bouquet among Pavelot's 2016s: detailed with blackberry, briary, hints of black olive developing with time in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with fine grain tannin, a satisfying sense of symmetry with a poised and long, tensile finish. Excellent. This is almost as good as the outstanding 2015 last year. - Neal Martin.
