The Wine Advocate:

The one red that is different in the range is the one produced with Monastrell grapes—the 2017 Depaula. 2017 was an early and healthy harvest, and the wine is only 13% alcohol, as he tries to show the fresher side of the variety. The grapes—from 60+-year-old vines planted on granite soils at 915 meters in altitude—were barrel fermented with full clusters and indigenous yeasts, then the wine matured in 4,500- and 15,000-liter oak vats for six months. This is very elegant, floral, fresh and mineral, a lot more serious than the price suggests. It's harmonious, with very fine, chalky tannins, and feels very much like a $40 bottle of red. Grab it! 40,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in April 2018.

Suckling:

Beautiful nose here with fresh redcurrants, tangerines, pink guava, fresh citrus and rosemary and thyme. Medium body, fine but structured tannins and a long yet zesty finish. So much focus and transparency to this wine. Wonderful to drink now.
