L'avis des experts

James Suckling:

An amber-colored rosé with aromas of cherries, praline, dried flowers and some spiced plums. Gastronomic and flavorful, with a medium to full body and dry, spicy and smoky elements. Tight bubbles. 88% chardonnay from Mesnil, Avize and Oger, with 12% red wine pinot noir from Bouzy and Ambonnay, from the 2018 vintage. 7g/L dosage. Drink now.

The Wine Advocate:

The latest release of Delamotte's NV Brut Rosé is showing beautifully, offering up aromas of tangerine, red plums, cherries and spices. Medium to full-bodied, pillowy and precise, with a fleshy core of fruit, bright acids and a pinpoint mousse, it concludes with a chalky finish. As ever, it's a seamless, elegant wine.

Jeb Dunnuck:

The medium amber/salmon colored NV Brut Rosé Le Mesnil-Sur-Oger is made from 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay. It has a caramelized, brioche-scented style as well as plenty of strawberry and cherry fruits, building, medium-bodied richness, and a pretty, elegant texture that keeps you coming back to the glass. It’s a classy, beautifully balanced rosé to drink over the coming 7-8 years.
