The one Albariño that is different is the 2017 Cos Pés, as it fermented with the skins for two months. But it only sees very soft punching down with the hands, while in the past they did more energetic pigéage. This is a change they introduced in 2017, and the result is a more subtle wine, with more elegance. It's still textured, with a little tannin, but the tannins are finer, different from the rest of their wines. This vintage is also subtler and not as marked by the vinification as in previous years. It shows more varietal character than in the past. Only 1,500 bottles were produced. - Luis Gutiérrez.
