Description
Principalement issu de Roussanne du vignoble de Saint-Drézéry dans le Languedoc, ce vin banc élevé en barriques se distingue par son agréable acidité, son équilibre et sa longueur en bouche. Bien structuré, il déploie des arômes de fleur d'acacia, de chocolat blanc et de fruits comme l'ananas. Un blanc particulièrement gourmand, idéal pour accompagner des plats à base de riz noir, des fruits de mer et des poissons au four. Un Languedoc à l'accent bourguignon.

A barrel-fermented wine based mainly on Roussanne, the 2017 Languedoc Saint Drezery Tête de Bélier Blanc looks to be another thrilling example of this bottling. Hints of toast highlight notes of marshmallow, apricot and pineapple on the nose, while the medium to full-bodied palate is creamy and ripe, then brought into crisp focus on the long finish by hints of white pepper and tannin.
The 2017 Tête De Belier Blanc is a blend of 40% each of Marsanne and Roussanne, with the balance Grenache Blanc and Viognier. This rocking white boasts rock star notes of white peach, caramelized white currants, white flowers, and brioche, with just a touch of crushed rock-like minerality, Deep, rich, and layered on the palate, with full-bodied richness, it stays fresh, balanced, and elegant.
