Partly aged in oak, Chateau de Manissy's 2017 Lirac is a terrific effort, a blend of 60% Grenache, 25% Syrah and the rest Cinsault. Hints of graham cracker and patisserie combine with blueberry and cherry fruit on the nose, while the medium to full-bodied palate shows real richness, concentration and length. It should drink well for 6-7 years.
