L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

The 2019 Blanco was produced with a blend of 40% each Moscatel and Macabeo and 20% Airén that fermented in 5,000-liter vats with indigenous yeasts and was kept with the lees until bottling. This is very leesy, the Moscatel is unnoticeable aromatically; it has a Mediterranean profile, notes of esparto grass and other aromatic herbs, chamomile and herbal tea. It has a salty touch in the palate with a bitter twist; it feels like something from the "albariza" soils from Jerez. But the nose moves toward balsamic notes reminiscent of camphor, which made me think of the Mediterranean sparkling wine (Cava). Very original. 20,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in January 2020.
