Camí Pesseroles 2014

A small part of Cariñena from the 2014 Camí Pesseroles was put into glass demijohns that were forgotten for a few months and it worked quite well, so from 2015 onwards they are also aging Cariñena in glass, something that they only did with Garnacha in the beginning. It shows some oak aromas from some new barrels that were used, but at the same time it was very recently bottled and it feels too young. In any case, this wine is always a little oaky when young. But there is good balance and very fine tannins here, and the wine should integrate the oak nicely with some more time in bottle. There are 2,200 bottles produced.
