L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

"The 2011 Cami Pesseroles is sourced from a very old vineyard planted with approximately 60% Cariñena and 40% Garnacha on yellow slate where the iron component is not oxidized like in the red slate. It has the ripeness of the warm 2011 vintage but I feel the Cariñena behaved quite well adding its rustic elegance along with notes of tree bark, earth, a little iron, shoe polish, graphite and wet slate, whereas the Garnacha added a touch of red cherries. The palate is medium to full-bodied with earthy tannins and good intensity, no doubt lifted by the alcohol. A powerful Pesseroles; both 2011 and 2012 have a lot of new oak, yet there's no trace of it, which speaks to the natural power and concentration of the grapes. 1,100 bottles produced".
