L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

"From a tiny parcel (100 square meters) and picked at 102° Oechsle, with 20% to 25% of perfect botrytis, the 2016 Brauneberger Juffer-Sonnenuhr Riesling Auslese (Gold Capsule) displays a super clear, ripe and aromatic yet very fine and elegant bouquet of ripe nectarines, peaches and yellow plums as well as the brown colored slate plates of the famous grand cru. The attack on the palate is nicely racy and piquant, the purity on the palate amazing and the lush, precise fruit just unbelievable. This is a great and terribly lush Auslese with superb finesse and mineral expression. Everything here is fine, fresh and sensual, a great combination of ripe and lush fruit with very fine slate minerality. This is fabulous! Just 400 bottles were produced, but each of them is a great drinking experience. Tasted March 2018."
