A blend of 70% Syrah grown on gneiss and 30% Grenache grown on schist, the promising 2016 Cotes du Roussillon Villages combines notes of blueberries and cherries on the nose. This full-bodied wine is rich and concentrated on the palate, marked by velvety tannins and a long, crushed-stone and ground-charcoal finish.
