The Wine Advocate:

"The second vintage of a blend of 70% Mandó and 30% Monastrell, the 2013 Parotet, from an exceptionally cool growing season fermented in stainless steel vats with indigenous yeasts and malolactic and 14 months aging in ancient 2,600-liter clay amphorae. There are aromas of aromatic herbs, hints of pollen and bright berry fruit. The palate has some dusty tannins, it does not feel as polished as other wines here, and today I prefer the nose to the palate. 13,000 bottles produced."
