L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

"The red 2014 Orto is the wine that represents their philosophy. It is produced with different grapes from the village of El Masroig and it aims to paint the character of each vintage through a blend that is more or less the varietal make up of the different vineyards that contribute to the wine: 55% Cariñena, 29% Garnacha, 10% Ull de Llebre (the local name of Tempranillo) and 6% Cabernet Sauvignon. It fermented in stainless steel and matured in used French oak barriques for six months. This is a serious, slightly more robust and round than the ethereal 2013. There is good ripeness and you cannot notice any influence of the Cabernet, which they are reducing (and regrafting to white). 17,000 bottles produced."
