L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

"Same as the MMXII, the 2014 La Bota de Florpower 67 MMXIV does not really carry the vintage other than in roman numbers as part of the name, and it's an unfortified, single vintage, flor-aged white wine from a diversity of vineyards in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Manzanilla country. The only difference with previous bottlings is that it's bottled in its second year, rather than in its third, as they want to show how the wine is when young. If the Navazos-Niepoort is always from Jerez; this one is from Sanlúcar and the flor is thriving in the vats, and that is transferred to the wine, which is vibrant and has a sharp, sapid palate. What is important with this wine is the palate. Again, it's difficult to reach the level of the benchmark 2012. 3,000 bottles produced."
