The Wine Advocate:

The 2012 Vino de Familia is produced with Garnacha from the village of Cebreros, a north-facing 60-year-old vineyard on granite soils. This is only the second vintage for this wine and it feels much fresher than the initial one, as it has a half-degree less alcohol. It's quite obviously produced with full clusters that add freshness to further amplify the Mediterranean herb aromas intermingling with red fruit, spices and a beautiful violet note that emerges with time. The palate is medium-bodied, with some tannins still marked by the élevage, yet it has good freshness and the alcohol is well integrated
