L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

"The 2014 Clos Alzina is a pure Cariñena and is produced with grapes from two vineyards—one of those vineyards, the Mas Alsera in Torroja del Priorat, was planted in 1939 at 600 meters in altitude. They used part of full clusters for the fermentation in clay and barriques with indigenous yeasts. It matured in oak vats. I find it balanced and serious, with good integration of its components and nicely integrated oak. The palate is textured and reveals clean flavors coupled with fine tannins. 1,700 bottles produced. It was bottled in April 2016".
