The Wine Advocate:
"I was very impressed by the nose of the 2012 Crianza from Carmelo Rodero, which contains 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and matured for 15 months in French oak barrels. There are flowers, ripe red cherries, very fresh herbs and subtle spices in a harmonious, elegant way. The palate is very tasty, with pungent flavors and great persistence of flavors that bring back the notes found in the nose. A very showy, elegant and balanced Crianza. Bravo! 180,000 bottles produced".

Carmelo Rodero pertenece a la cuarta generación de una arraigada familia de viticultores. Sus bisabuelos elaboraban vino en antiguos lagares y sus abuelos fundaron la Cooperativa de Pedrosa de Duero en Burgos.
